Leigh Ann Arnholt CTIE, MCC, WSET II – Owner

One of my favorite sayings is “If you want something bad enough, be dedicated to it.” These past few years I have been tested and refined as a leader in the company. I believe more than ever that travel is needed and is life changing! As the leader of Carson Travel, my focus is on my team and overseeing the day-to-day operations.

Luxury travel, wine tours, and working with my recurring clients keep me busy. Many of my clients appreciate the finer things in life. They work hard and enjoy those wonderful things! I love introducing clients to new luxury experiences in travel. I have enjoyed 15 years leading Carson Travel and am looking forward to many more as the world is open again!

I have always enjoyed traveling to new destinations, but it wasn’t until becoming an adult and having my own family that I began to fully appreciate the history and culture behind the destination. Now, when I travel to a new coast or country, I always wonder about the people who have been there before me.

My favorite way to travel is by cruise ship. Cruising affords the opportunity to visit several ports of call on each journey. Each time you stop in a port and purchase local items, you are stimulating a local economy. Most cruise lines have unforgettable dining options as well. Much of the meal options are included, so it is like experiencing an all-inclusive. You always have the option to pay for a specialty meal in the steakhouse,  seafood venue, or other fine dining eatery, if you need a formal dining experience.

My passion behind my job…

When a client comes to me and asks for my help to plan their honeymoon, family vacation, or getaway, I try to plan it like it is my own vacation. When I don’t have firsthand knowledge of a particular destination, I have resources such as co-workers and vendor training to help me. I enjoy learning about each destination. I especially appreciate when I can participate in a training opportunity in destination.

I have always had a passion for travel. I would always be thinking about what destination would be next as soon as I arrived home.

After 32 years of teaching, I turned that passion into a second career with Carson Travel in 2019. I have been fortunate enough to visit 28 states, much of Europe, the Riviera Maya, and the Caribbean.

My passion behind my job…

My goal for my clients is to find what they are looking for and what is important to them, whether it be traveling with friends or family, great food, relaxation, activities, or excellent beaches. I look forward to helping you plan a vacation to remember!
